In a great Channel 4 documentary, ‘Superkids: Breaking Away from Care’, Lemn Sissay met seven young people who are in the care of their council and set out to help them express their experiences through words and perform them to a packed theatre of decision-makers.
“When people hear you’re a care kid, it’s like a disease.”
