Anne Longfield, Children’s Commissioner for England, congratulating GCSE exam students said:

“Congratulations to young people throughout England country who have completed their GCSEs this year. Today’s results show just what young people are capable of achieving and the promising futures they have ahead.

“I encourage students and families to explore the many options that are available including vocational courses, apprenticeships and A’ levels. Doing something you’re passionate about is often a good start.”
