Anne Longfield, Children’s Commissioner for England said:

“Unfortunately, many children are exposed to images and content that are inappropriate for them to see. I have long called for age-appropriate lessons for life for children so that they develop the skills and resilience they need to avoid unpleasant content of this kind and understand that such images are not what respectful relationships and attitudes are based on.

“Adults have a duty to protect children from harm and that extends to the harm they may be exposed to online, so I welcome Plan UK’s findings.”
