Children’s Commissioner Anne Longfield OBE said:
“The Prime Minister is shining a welcome spotlight on the support we offer vulnerable children.
“Trauma and childhood crisis are not inevitable and it is our responsibility to ensure that vulnerable children get the joined-up help they need early to help prevent and recover from such experiences.
“I welcome the PM’s support for turning around opportunities for vulnerable children and ask him now to make this a central priority for his Government.”
