Thanks for helping to spread the word about The Big Ask survey. This is the biggest opportunity children in England will have to make their voice heard and we want as many children as possible in England to take part.
On this page you’ll find a range of resources to use with the children and young people that you work with when encouraging them to take part in the survey, as well as templates, videos and logos to use in your own communications. We also have resources especially aimed at primary school aged children.
If you have questions about The Big Ask you can read our FAQ.

Get your students or youth group engaged with the survey with these resources designed for teachers and group leaders. These resources are suitable for children aged 6-17.
Use our video to help introduce and explain The Big Ask survey to your child, group or class. We also have an alternative version for primary school students. Both videos have closed captions available to turn on within YouTube by enabling subtitles. If you experience any difficulty making this video accessible please contact us at [email protected]
You can use our logo and The Big Ask logo in any materials or literature you create to promote the survey. We’ve supplied a variety of colours and file types to download. Please don’t change the colours or distort the dimensions in any way.
We encourage you to spread the word about The Big Ask on social media to help us reach as many children as possible. Please mention our official account and use the #TheBigAsk hashtag wherever possible.
It’s great if you can share the survey in your own words, using language familiar with your own audience, but if you’d like a helping hand, here are some suggested Tweets which you can use (or find one of our Tweets and Retweet!)
Below you can find two images to use on Instagram, one for your feed and one for stories. You can click on them to open a bigger version, and then Right Click > Save Image.
Remember to add our hashtag #TheBigAsk and our account @childrenscommissioner to your story, and below you can find suggested text for your feed post (feel free to edit or write something in your own words for your audience).
