I wanted my character to be relatable to other young people in care. When I designed my character, Micah, it was easy because I made her the polar opposite of myself in her behaviour. I intended for her to be mixed raced but I was open to interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I heard from Helen (corporate parenting manager)&nbsp; that my character had been picked and she came to my house to give me my prize. When she saw me she asked me if I wanted to be one of the voices for the animation. Helen also asked me to design another character, Mohammed. I most enjoyed doing the voice over as it was a really good insight into what it&#8217;s like to do voice-over work and it was good fun. If we made mistakes we could laugh about it and it didn&#8217;t matter as we could redo it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is important to me because I think I put a lot of effort into it. I designed two of the characters and most of the backgrounds.
