Jack Monroe\u2019s family fostered for many years so Jack knows quite a bit about the reality of care. She\u2019s also no stranger to having to make ends meet and keep going when there\u2019s not much money about. She really made her name with a book full of recipes that were specifically designed by talent but also necessity to be created on very little money, or in fact \u201cCooking on a Bootstrap<\/a>“.
