It was the 4th of November when it all began<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The girl was only 13, she didn\u2019t understand<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She cried every night on the phone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Screaming to her mum she doesn\u2019t want to be alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was nothing she could do, she had no choice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nobody listened to her, she had no voice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People started to judge her for being in care<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They used to call her names, they used to stand and stare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why was this happening to her? She thought it wasn\u2019t fair<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She missed her family and friends<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She couldn\u2019t cope, but she knew it wasn\u2019t the end<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She got used to the fact she that she was staying there<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially when she was put into long-term foster care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However it wasn\u2019t all that bad<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things got better, times weren\u2019t as sad<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One year later, as her confidence has grown<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is now a prefect, nobody could have known<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She tried her hardest in school, achieving good grades<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone, including herself, were surprised by the changes she\u2019s made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now she focuses on the future<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ignoring the past<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By making good memories<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And making them last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
