Screen-reader users will not be able to understand the content, but the underlying data is provided wherever possible. This falls under the 1.1.1 (A) We aim to have fixed the images with missing text alternatives by April 2021.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PDF files on our website do not meet accessibility standards &#8211; for example, they may not have titles defined or a language set, additionally, they may not be structured so they are accessible to a screen reader. This does not meet WCAG success criterion 2.4.2, 3.1.1 and 1.3.1 respectively. We plan to have all documents uploaded from 1st January 2021 to be accessible and will use the Tingtun Checker validator tool to validate this. We plan on removing or updating any PDF uploaded to the website after 23rd September 2018 so that it does meet WCAG success criterion 2.4.2, 3.1.1 and 1.3.1 respectively by April 2021. PDF\u2019s uploaded from before this date are not within scope &#8211; please see below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disproportionate Burden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The majority of the podcast and video content we deliver is user-generated, embedded from third-party sources such as youtube and pinecast. The content is provided voluntarily by people that are in care or care leavers. Expecting these groups to provide subtitles or transcripts is a disproportionate burden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Content that\u2019s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Third-party content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This website includes third party content.
