    Description: over the summer a group of young people got together and planned the day. The group would meet up with a youth worker every saturday. on the 7th of November we had the takeover day. Sir Al Aynsley Green visited Leicester for the day. 95 young people participated in the day and took over a job for the day. The following week on 14th November we held a conference for the decision makers of the city so that they could see what the young people acheived. I was the key speaker at the conference

    Description: Two young people (Siani, aged 15 and James aged 14) from the Canterbury area attended the Youth Takeover event at Kent County Council where they spent the day shadowing the Cabinet Member, Mr Graham Gibbens. The event included an open discussion session at the Parkwood Plus Healthy Living Centre to further inform them on the Towards 2010 Campaign to produce a campaign for young people and to acquire their views on how campaigns could be targeted effectively to young people.
