Description: An event dubbed ‘Mini Mayflowers’ was Boston Mayflower‘s effort for the national 11 Million Takeover Day.
Mayflower arranged for 12 pupils and two members of staff from the town’s St Nicholas Primary School to take control of a fictional scenario in which a play area had been vandalised and needed repairing. It included visits to CCTV, a meeting at Boston Police Station and action in various departments at Boston Mayflower.

I worked in the Dept for Children Schools and Families for a full day along with the Private Secretaries and was able to enter all of Ed Ball’s meetings including one with the PM.
