20 December 2010

Young People at Sussex Police

Thanks to the support and imagination of thousands of people in all walks of life up and down England, Takeover Day 2010 on 12 November was a huge success. Approximately 40,000 children from Cumbria down to the Isles of Scilly were involved, trying out top jobs, taking on challenges and advising on big decisions.

We've had very positive feedback from both children and adults who took part, telling how young people's contributions on Takeover Day influence organisations' policies, views and future approach to children's issues.
